Customer Reviews
Convenient but has quirks
I got Apple News+ as part of an Apple One bundle, which made it a pretty good deal overall. The convenience of having so many magazines and newspapers in one app is great, especially the magazine archives. I've been able to catch up on a lot of travel publications. Customer service was helpful when I had a small issue linking my account initially, got it sorted within a day. Sometimes, though, the app can be a bit slow to sync new issues, and I've noticed a few articles that load strangely, but it's not a deal-breaker. Mostly a positive experience for the amount of content you get.
Easy access to news
Signed up for Apple News+. Got access to lots of magazines fast. Enjoyed the premium news articles. Interface is simple. Good service. Wish it had more local papers in my area.
Comprehensive content, minor glitches
I signed up for the Apple News+ subscription mainly for the business journals and fashion magazines. The ordering process was straightforward through my Apple ID, and activation was instant. I've been enjoying the wide selection, particularly the narrated stories which are a nice touch for commutes. Delivery of new issues is always prompt, appearing right in the app. Customer support wasn't needed, thankfully. My only small gripe is that sometimes switching between articles can be a bit slow to load, even on good Wi-Fi. The family sharing feature is a big plus though, my partner uses it for sports news.
Solid service, few issues
My experience with Apple News+ has been mostly positive. The range of magazines and newspapers is impressive, and I like being able to read everything in one app. The 1 month free trial was great for testing it out. Delivery of content is immediate, which is expected for digital. I've found the quality of the articles to be high. My main suggestion for improvement would be better organization for older magazine issues; sometimes finding specific back issues can be a bit clunky. Overall, a practical choice for news and magazine readers.
Worth it for the annual plan
I'm always looking for ways to save, so when I saw the annual subscription savings for Apple News+, I jumped on it. I initially got 3 months free with a holiday promotion, which was a great way to see if it was something I'd actually use. I mostly wanted access to the Wall Street Journal and some tech news, and it delivers on that. Paying for a full year upfront definitely feels like the best value compared to paying monthly. You get a lot of content for the price, though I wish there were more options for local news coverage in my area.
Good content, easy to use
I signed up for an Apple News+ subscription a few months back, specifically for the access to premium news articles and some of the fashion magazines. The sign-up process was straightforward; I just went through the app on my iPad. I got a 1-month free trial which was nice to test things out. Content loads quickly and the interface is intuitive, making it easy to browse different publications. I particularly like the narrated stories for when I'm doing other things around the house. The search function could be a bit more robust for finding specific past articles, but overall, it's a solid service for keeping up with various news sources and magazines. The family sharing subscription worked well for my partner too.
Liked the trial
I tried out the Apple News+ free trial that came with my new iPad, and it was pretty cool. I mostly read the daily crossword puzzles and checked out a few cooking and food magazines. It felt easy to use. I probably won't keep it after the trial, since I don't read that much, but it was a nice perk.
Good value for content
I was looking for a way to get a lot of magazines without spending too much. The Apple News+ subscription seemed like a solid deal, especially with the 3 months free trial. After that, the monthly fee for all those publications is pretty good value. I wish there was a yearly discount option to save a bit more up front, but overall, it feels worth it for the amount of content I get.

Does Apple News+ actually include full Wall Street Journal access or is it just like, a few articles?
Quick question about the free trials. I saw something about 3 months free. Is that still a thing, or was that a limited-time deal?
